Professional Trainings

Training's can be developed for staff/caregivers/people with IDD based on your identified needs.

 

Training costs include all preparatory work to design the training specific to your needs, supplies, materials and handouts. Training's can vary in time from 45 minutes to multi-day workshops.

Topics can include but are not limited to:

Curriculum

Development

Curricula can be developed for any age group and are tailored to be both developmentally appropriate and to meet the needs of people with a variety of needs and learning styles. 

All lesson plans include tips for facilitators, glossary of terms, copies of all needed handouts and materials, step by step instructions to conduct each lesson and additional resources for educators.

Clinical 

Consulting

 

Clinical consulting services can be developed to meet the needs of your agency/school/clinical practice.

Consulting services include:

  • Individual sessions with people with IDD to address specific areas of need

  • Developing behavioral interventions

  • Writing positive behavior support plans (PBSPs)

  • Reviewing/developing sexuality policy and curriculum

  • Providing information regarding updated sexuality information and terminology.

  • Consent determination assessments

  • Risk assessments
